I grew up being taught not only the skills of music, but most importantly, a deep love and appreciation for music. I will forever be grateful for that; I strive to do the same in lessons with my students. I am an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. Music is one of the most beautiful art forms. Learning this art form is precious and magical. I believe that playing an instrument can provide an unmatchable outlet for creativity and self expression.

I currently teach flute to beginner-intermediate flute students in person and online. I firmly believe that teaching is not only about learning the technical skills to play flute, but also gaining a love for music, confidence and belief in oneself.

  • Lessons range in time from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Whether you are looking for someone to coach you through band and orchestra auditions or just for a fun activity, I would be happy to teach you!

    I love when students bring music to their lessons that they are invested in playing because this allows me to connect and engage with their specific interests!

    My top priority is that my students feel the same love for music and flute that I do. I encourage my students to tell me their wishes and goals so we can make lessons fun and work toward their goals while still maintaining their love for music.

    While lessons can be incredibly beneficial in developing a flutists technique and confidence, I prioritize finding the right. Students should feel excitement for their lessons and comfortable and confident with their teacher.
